Definition of a good Saturday night.

Boiling crab, wine, psoy dos, small-town bar, good music, catching up, hydroplaning on the freeway twice and handling it like a champ!, and good company.

Oh what?! One of my best friends is coming back from Paris tomorow night! What a great way to really start my winter break.

Of course, leave it to me to use food as a metaphor, but omy! I am so happy to be done with the quarter! ..my brain still can’t digest all the information that I’ve been tested and FORCE-FED over this past week. It was really overwhelming, even overloading.

I felt stuffed.

And so, it leaves a bittersweet taste in my mouth… because, on one hand, I don’t want to think about my final grades, but on the other, I celebrate the sweet, sweet independence from school and all it’s sourness. I’ve conquered the belly of the beast (Fall Quarter) and can move on to bigger things,  better things, like play time and friends, and watching TV, and internet shopping, and actual shopping, and holiday fun! Oh yes, I’m hungry.
